First of all, thank you for visiting my store. This section is where you can find out what's and who's behind the Brickpassion store. My name is Sven, 22 years old and I study Information Management here in the Netherlands. It was about four years ago, when I rediscovered Lego again after being in the so-called 'Dark Age'. I started discovering the online Lego community, and I found out about this site called Bricklink. The thought that I could search and buy any parts I wanted amazed me. So I tried it out: I 'Bricklinked' a classic Forestmen set and tried to collect as many of the parts as possible. That actually was surprisingly simple to do! Although I must admit, Bricklink definitely takes some time getting used to. Especially the part and color names have to be learnt. Anyways, this went on and on for a couple of years, collecting ever more sets and parts for my own MOCs (My Own Creation). After having bought some storage organizers, I wondered what those huge sellers' storage would look like. And I also wondered what it would take to run a store myself. Months passed, with some research every now and then on the preparations and possibilities. Now I can say that I have enough experience to categorize my own parts, and I think I have found a way to build up a nice (and operational) store. Since June 2020, I launched this BrickOwl store as an expansion to the Bricklink store. This way, I can offer my parts to even more builders and collectors out there!

So there it is! That's the backstory (in short) of my decision to start this store. My goal is to have a unique inventory and to provide as many parts as possible for all the builders and collectors out there. I try not to price my items too high, as I'm looking to change my part selection every couple of months. Furthermore, I am going to try to do this as professionally as possible! This I plan doing by providing good customer contact, good packaging and by creating an overall brand. And you can share this journey with me!Last Updated: 1 Apr 2022
